Senior Support Engineer

Job Summary:

GovPath is looking for a talented Senior Support Engineer for our Managed Services Team. In this exciting role you will work with multiple City, County, and State Governments to design and build solutions for customers using the Accela Civic Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis sessions and capture business requirements base on ticket submissions for a variety of domains including:

    • Land Management

    • Business Licensing

    • Professional Licensing

    • Code Enforcement

    • Asset Management

    • Environmental Health

  • Design solutions that meet customer needs

  • Develop, test, and document completed solutions

  • Provide end-user and technical training on completed solutions

  • Participate in other technical components (Scripting, Data Conversion/Migration, Report Development)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of consulting implementation experience with Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software

  • 3+ years of implementing the Accela Civic Platform

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Strong presentation experience

  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • JavaScript experience

  • Ability to work from a home office

  • Passion for working with government

Pluses:

  • SQL Script experience

  • Report Development using SSRS or Crystal Reports

  • C# .NET, Java, or Nodejs programming

  • Effectively managing SLAs (service level agreements) and Help Desk ticketing software
